When using the camera for the first time, switch to the SETUP mode, adjust the camera settings and shooting mode in the MENU, then switch to ON for normal use. For infrared monitoring mode, switch to ON and press OK, wait 10 seconds, and the screen will turn off as the camera enters IR detection mode.
